Senior Event Specialist - Remote

As a Senior Event Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our events program by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization – including product managers, sales teams, and thought leaders – to develop and execute strategic, goal-oriented events. Your primary focus will be to manage and execute the global trade show program, while also overseeing the production of company-led events such as workshops, conferences, and roadshows. This hands-on role requires a strong customer focus, proactive problem-solving, and exceptional project management skills to ensure all events are impactful, well-executed, and aligned with business objectives.

The salary range is $63,744 - $106,723. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

This position is remote with the requirement of traveling to support staff at various conferences and events (up to 50%). Travel schedule can include periods of up to 5-6 weeks in a row of constant travel during peak season. During other seasons it will be less intense.

Key Responsibilities (What you contribute):

Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product managers, sales, marketing, leadership) to define event objectives, target audiences, and metrics for success, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals. Take initiative in identifying opportunities to enhance customer experiences and improve brand visibility at events, leveraging creativity and innovation to stand out in competitive environments.Manage all aspects of the global event program, including event selection, booth design, logistics, vendor management, and post-event analysis.Lead cross-functional event teams to ensure timely execution, effective resource management, and clear communication across all levels of the organization. Conduct post-event debriefs and generate reports that measure success, gather insights, and recommend strategies for future improvements.Manage the trade show and event budgets, ensuring cost-effective event execution while maintaining high standards of quality and impact. This includes overseeing expense tracking, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.During the event, ensure effective lead capture, coaching for the event team on proper data entry for leads, booth etiquette and the goals for each show and supervises event follow up.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (You're good at):

BA degree in Communication, Marketing, Business or science required and 2 years of experience with direct oversight of campaign and event management. Field sales experience preferred.For Senior Level - in addition to the above - 5+ years of experience developing exhibit schedules, market analysis for events and campaigns, budget developmentDemonstrated exceptional organizational, time and budget management skills are required.Global event planning experience is a plus.Knowledge of event service providers and expertise in vendor negotiations/contracting proceduresProven complex project management skills. The ability to generate, understand and use analytics to identify trends and then make strategic recommendations based on data.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills requiredDetail-oriented, results driven ability to independently oversee multiple projects simultaneously and manage budgetsExceptional computer skills including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint required. Familiarity with CRM (especially Salesforce) and marketing automation (Marketo) is preferredMust be available to travel and accessible to support event staff as required (up to 50%).
