The Leonardo DRS Land Electronics business provides C4I Network computing and integrated situational awareness, as well as state-of-the-art embedded diagnostics, vehicle power management and combat vehicle integration products and services.
Job Summary Job Responsibilities Manage the administrative needs of a senior level executive and/or their staff Exercise discretion and independent judgment in assisting Senior Executive(s) Work under limited direction, determine and develop approach to solutions Consistently work on complex assignments requiring action and a high degree or initiative to resolve issues Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments Provide resolutions to an adverse range of complex problems Read outgoing correspondence for executive approval and alert writers to any conflicts or departure from policies or the executive’s viewpoint Interpret requests and help implement action, deciding whether executive should be notified of important or emergency matters Interpret and adapt guidelines, including unwritten policies, precedents, and practices Prepare special reports, summaries, or replies to inquiries, selecting relevant information from a variety of sources Give recommendations and feedback to improve the administrative process Issue and interpret operating policies Assist executive administrative details, often of a confidential nature Coordinate preparation of reports such as budget expenditures, statistical reports, or performance measures Calendar management and meeting coordination Coordinate travel arrangements, expense report processing and reimbursement Perform administrative functions such as composing correspondence, scheduling appointments, etc Interface with other executives internal/external to organization at the request of the Senior Executive May supervise other administrative support Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization Contact or respond to contact from high-ranking individuals inside or outside the corporation Ability to use judgment and discretion to analyze each unique situation and handle each contact differently Special projects as assigned Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures Perform other duties as required Job Responsibilities Part II Qualifications Associate’s degree in related discipline (or equivalent experience) plus 10 years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated ability to make independent judgment Expert skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures Team player, ability to work independently while meeting deadlines, handles a high volume of workTaking care of our people is a top priority at Leonardo DRS.
