THE JOB:
Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for providing top-tier administrative support? MGM Springfield is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Property President and Leadership Team. THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Provide work direction to less experienced Executive Assistants and provide effective and comprehensive support to department headProvide general office support to all team members on an as needed basis and perform related duties as required and assist in a variety of office operations; perform special projects and assignments as required.Type documents to include correspondence, presentations, forms, reports, etc.Schedule meetings and conference calls; organize detailed international and domestic travel ranging from air and hotel reservations to passport and visa applicationsHandle situations where independent judgment is exercised, thereby relieving the Executive of extraneous matter; screen incoming calls and either assist caller when appropriate, forward calls that can be handled by othersMaintain confidential files and honor the integrity of all informationManage and prioritize heavy volume of e-mails including archiving and retrievalReconcile expenses and submit reimbursable items for processingUpdate and maintain Executive’s business associate contact details and arrange Executive‘s business associate’s hotel, restaurant, and airline reservations
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Working knowledge of travel system and expense management systemAble to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal formsAbility to make sound decisions immediately without supervision at a very high levelAbility to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environmentProficiency of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment (i.e. telephone, copier)Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detailEffective listening abilities with strong judgment skillsExcellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contactsHas high school diploma, GED or equivalent education Has 2+ years of prior relevant experience as an Executive Assistant or Administrative AssistantAble to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidaysExperience working in a similar resort setting
