Senior Executive Assistant- Office of the CEO

Our Opportunity: 

Chewy is on a mission to be the most trusted and convenient destination for pet parents (and partners) everywhere. We seek a talented Sr. Executive Assistant for the Office of the CEO. Reporting to the Manager, Executive Administration, you will provide high-quality strategic, administrative, and technical assistance primarily to the CEO and the Technical Advisor Executive Operations, while also providing coverage to other senior leaders on an as-needed basis.

This position will be based in our Plantation, FL headquarters and the primary duties include calendar/travel/expense management, coordinating events and communications for leaders, and being able to independently resolve problems. To be successful in this role, you should be proactive, meet deadlines, be highly organized, and communicate effectively. 

What you will do: 

Perform foundational EA responsibilities such as: High volume calendaring via Microsoft OutlookMake and track travel arrangementsCompile, submit, and track expense reportsComplete cycle meeting execution: planning, preparation, execution, and follow up action trackingPlan department and corporate events (virtual and onsite)Act as a primary liaison between executives and team members/clientsProvide support in arranging leadership team meetings including capturing meeting briefs and summaries, handling critical logistic components, and ensuring appropriate follow-upBuild PowerPoint decks, coordinate/consolidate high level reports, draft SOPs/internal communications Able to drive simple process improvement, complete light analytics, and budget managementTake on special assignments and projects on a variety of issues requested by the leaders’ respective leadership teamsProvide additional coverage to other teams as directed by manager

What You'll Need: 

7+ years of related experience supporting VPs and/or C-level executivesBachelor's Degree PreferredExperience with project or program managementAble to do basic analytics and is comfortable with ExcelAdapts well to changing plans and priorities; comfortable dealing with ambiguityKnowledge of office proceduresExperience with office management systems and Microsoft OfficeStrong execution with complex online calendars across multiple time zones and cloud systemsStrong communication skills (via phone, email, and in-person)Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company informationExcellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively, and prioritize workHave a solution oriented, ‘can-do’ attitude and remain steady under pressureAble to adapt quickly to change with high emotional intelligence  Position may require travel
