Senior Executive Assistant to VP

Our client, a well known leader in the field is recruiting for a highly skilled Senior Executive Assistant for a 3 month contract (with strong potential for extension) to provide critical support to the Vice President, Information Services. This role requires a seasoned professional who can quickly adapt and ensure seamless executive operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive Support & AdministrationManage daily communications, scheduling, and correspondence for the VP.Prepare materials for meetings, including agendas, presentations, and follow-ups.Handle travel arrangements, stakeholder coordination, and logistics for internal and external engagements.Oversee calendar management and represent the VP in meetings when necessary.Operational & Strategic SupportAssist in updating policies within the division.Support strategic initiatives by gathering data, conducting research, and compiling reports.Ensure smooth information flow across departments, tracking deadlines and deliverables.Collaborate on financial reporting, budget preparation, strategic communications, and Board documentation.Additional DutiesProvide coverage for other Executive Assistants when needed.Organize special events and activities for the division.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.What You Bring Education & Experience
Post-secondary education in office administration (preferred).Minimum 5 years of progressive administrative experience, with at least 3 years supporting executive leadership.Technical Skills
Expertise in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Forms.Strong understanding of corporate policies and office procedures.Familiarity with pension-related legislation (an asset).Key Competencies
