Senior Executive Communications Specialist
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Communications Specialist to join our team and provide comprehensive support to the CEO, Chief of Staff, and key executive leadership. In this role, you will be responsible for developing executive messaging, creating an enterprise-wide communication strategy, and delivering impactful internal and external communications for our global public organization. This is a critical role that requires a self-starter with exceptional storytelling abilities and a deep understanding of corporate communication strategies.Responsibilities:Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO, Chief of Staff, and other key executives to understand the company's initiatives, strategies, and key messages, ensuring alignment with the overall corporate vision.Communication Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy that supports the CEO’s vision and enhances the company’s enterprise communication efforts.Message Crafting: Create clear, concise, and compelling executive and company messages for internal and external audiences, maintaining consistency in tone, style, and brand voice across all platforms.Content Development: Prepare and edit a wide range of communication materials, including executive scripts, executive presentations, memos, and speeches for internal and external engagements.Advisory Role: Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team, providing guidance on communication best practices, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement.Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Product, to ensure consistency and alignment in messaging across all go-to-market activities.Impact Measurement: Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communication initiatives, leveraging analytics and feedback to optimize strategies and tactics continually.Innovation: Stay current with emerging communication trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance communication effectiveness.Qualifications:Experience: 10+ years of communications experience, preferably in a corporate environment within the technology industry.Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English, engineering, or a related field.Communication Skills: Excellent writing and storytelling abilities with the capacity to translate complex technical information into accessible language.Leadership Influence: Demonstrated ability to advise and influence senior leaders on communication approaches and messaging.Program Management: Strong program management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.Collaboration: Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration, with a proactive approach to working with diverse teams.Detail Orientation: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all communication outputs.Professionalism: High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism, particularly when handling confidential information.Impact You Will Have:Visibility and Influence: Enhance the visibility and influence of the CEO and executive leadership team through strategic communication and speaking engagements.Alignment and Consistency: Strengthen the alignment of executive communications with the company’s overall corporate vision and key messages.Stakeholder Engagement: Foster stronger relationships with key stakeholders by providing strategic communications advice and support.Operational Excellence: Contribute to the operationalization of the corporate narrative, ensuring it resonates with diverse audiences and supports the company’s growth and innovation goals.$135,000 - $170,000 a yearThe US base salary range for this full-time position. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
