Job Description Faststream are seeking a dynamic and motivated Pricing and Space Control Specialist to join a global Shipping Company in Dubai. The successful candidate will manage daily pricing and space control to achieve budget targets and coordinate with various stakeholders for operational efficiency.

Role Overview:

Location: Dubai
Focus: Container Vessels

Key Responsibilities:
Daily Pricing Management: Oversee daily pricing matters to meet budget requirements. Space Control: Manage daily space control and operational tasks to achieve budgetary goals. Performance Monitoring: Organise regular meetings with international offices to discuss performance and market information, and develop pricing and space strategies. Communication and Coordination: Communicate with Port of Loading offices regarding vessel utilisation and market conditions. Coordinate with relevant parties for operational matters, including schedule recovery and void sailing. Container Management: Collaborate with the Container Flow Management team for container repositioning.
Who We're Looking For:
Education: Graduate degree in Commercial Management or Marketing preferred; Shipping Certification is also acceptable. Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience, with regional or global role experience being an added advantage. Special Skills: In-depth knowledge of the shipping industry, sales experience, and Regional Headquarter (RHQ) work experience. Strong communication skills are essential. Job-Specific Skills: Proficiency in Change Management, Business Acumen, Coaching/Mentoring, and Analytical Skills.
