Your tasks and responsibilities:

You focus on optimizing the global Supply Chain Network with its warehouses and transportation lanes & modalities to maximize our customer performance while minimizing the total logistics spend. You conduct assessments and IT-based network simulations (incl. the center of gravity approach) of the current Supply Chain setup, footprint, and transportation management, with a particular focus on utilizing optimization tools to identify opportunities for improvement.You are responsible for coordinating the efficient and accurate collection of information, optimizing the Supply Chain model, reviewing the resulting output, and collaborating with relevant teams to assess the operational feasibility based on the proposed modifications.You support the management in evaluating and designing the future operating model for the Logistics Network DesignYou will analyze vast amounts of Supply Chain data to gain insights into the areas where the supply chain can be optimized.You prepare management decision proposals based on data-driven simulation results including visualization and business case calculations. You lead initiatives and projects on one's own responsibility considering budget-, time-, quality- and process-requirements, supported by HPS-methodology.You check and regularly monitor the efficiency of our global and regional Supply Chain Network design and initiate gap and root-cause analyses.

Your qualification and experience:

·       You have in-depth knowledge in Supply Chain Network design processes and tools.

·       You successfully finished a study in the areas of Logistics, Business Administration, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or similar.

·       You have many years of professional experience in service logistics and/or procurement logistics as well as strong experience in managing complex projects related to warehousing, distribution, transportation, or process re-engineering.

·       You have a high proficiency in the design of network solutions in the transport and warehouse environment.

·       In addition, you can demonstrate a confident handling of all common MS Office applications (especially PowerPoint, PowerBI, Access and Excel), and have experience with SQL and other data analysis tools.

·       You have a far-reaching understanding of customers in the sense of an end-to-end supply chain orientation.

Your profile and your skills:

·       As part of a global team, you are a team player and eager to integrate into an international environment across different locations. Therefore, you are very communicative and fluent in the English language and ideally have also basic German language skills.

·       You have advanced analytic skills and enjoy supply chain related analyses.

·       You think in a very customer-oriented way and in end-to-end process chains from the supplier to the end customer.

·       You have strong communication skills on different organizational levels.

·       With your new and innovative ideas, you will push the boundaries of how we think and act.

·       You are willing to travel upon request and necessity (mainly to Germany but also intercontinentally with approx. 15% of your working time)

·       You are located in Poland.
