Senior Export Control Professional

Your Key Responsibilities Oversee export control issues within the legal entity, serving as the Export Control Empowered Official. Analyze and monitor national and international export control regulations for relevance and applicability to the legal entity. Support the product and technology jurisdiction and classification process; apply for and maintain government export authorizations. Ensure compliance with export control laws and regulations, export authorizations and permits, and the legal entity’s export compliance program. Initiate and ensure the execution of assessment programs related to export control matters. Conduct training sessions and support the Regional Export Control Manager in daily activities and special projects. Your Qualifications

Minimum:

Post-secondary Degree Minimum 5 years of relevant export control experience Expertise in US Export Control Laws and Regulations and working knowledge of Canada and EU Export Control regulations Ability to assess and execute tasks relevant to Export Control Adequate technical acumen and experience with jurisdiction and classification analysis, and strong analytical and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally High degree of dependability and conscientiousness, with the ability to make appropriate fact-based decisions and assess risks Able to review and have a basic understanding of export control agreements, licenses / permits, and regulatory language Knowledge of and experience with SAP GTS Export Control tool or similar Export Control tools This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
