Job Description - Sr. Manager, Facilities

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Manager, Facilities to lead our team in delivering exceptional facility operations, services, and maintenance activities at assigned location(s). This client-facing senior position is responsible for ensuring cost-effective operation and maintenance of client assets while providing a safe, clean, compliant, and comfortable work environment. The ideal candidate will excel in budget development, cost control, service provider coordination, and team leadership.

Essential Functions:

Leadership and Team Management:

Oversee staffing, performance, and development of facility associatesProvide regular performance feedback, coaching, and development to direct reportsCollaborate with account senior management on succession planning and personnel mattersManage other Facility Managers as required

Client and Stakeholder Management:

Interact extensively with internal and external customers to ensure seamless service deliveryEstablish and maintain high levels of client satisfactionAlign operations with client-specific Master Services Agreement (MSA) and JLL business objectives

Facility Operations and Compliance:

Ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations of all site assets, functions, and servicesEstablish a safety-first culture and improve safety and environmental performanceEnsure labor compliance and quality-related proceduresDevelop and manage site management plans, including KPIs and SLAs

Financial Management:

Develop and manage detailed annual operating budgets for assigned locationsProvide monthly/quarterly/annual operational and financial reportingOversee capital and expense budgets and associated projectsNegotiate new contracts and maintain existing ones

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

Develop and implement programs to reduce operating costs and increase productivityRecommend and implement solutions for complex maintenance and operational issuesExport and import best practices across the account and JLL

Vendor and Supplier Management:

Coordinate with key subcontractors and suppliers on goal setting and performance reviewsCollaborate with account supply chain and sourcing teams on national and regional opportunitiesMaximize utilization of preferred vendors and diverse suppliers to meet client and JLL targets

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in facilities management with technical emphasis in mechanical and/or electrical disciplines12+ years of facility management or building operations experience5+ years of supervisory experienceExperience managing third-party service providers for hard and soft servicesExperience supporting safety and environmental programs in facility management operations

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong leadership and supervisory skills with ability to coach, mentor, and trainExceptional customer service orientationExcellent relationship-building skills in matrix management organizationsSuperior organizational and problem-solving abilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlinesBusiness acumen, including financial planning and analysisProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and SharePoint
