What this job involves: As a Senior Facility Manager at JLL specializing in GMP/GXP environments, you'll lead a team responsible for managing and optimizing regulated facilities in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector. This role involves ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), while developing and implementing strategies to delight clients and foster long-term relationships. You'll anticipate client needs, deliver on key performance indicators, and build financial plans to exceed revenue and profitability targets. Creating and managing high-performing teams will be crucial as you strive for operational excellence and employee engagement. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping efficient, compliant, and productive environments, collaborating with diverse teams globally, and translating JLL's strategy and goals into business opportunities within the unique demands of GxP facilities.

What your day-to-day will look like:

​Manage the Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) & GxP operations for our client in the pharmaceutical industry.Manage the performance and outcomes of assigned staff reporting to the position.Maintain interface with third party owners (Landlords), ensuring total contract (Lease) compliance, accurate and timely reporting, and resolve critical impact tenant relations issues.Provide overall facility services in accordance with accounts’ standard processes and procedures including application of policies and programs, coordination of information.Ensure compliance with portfolio wide initiatives and required local, state and federal laws and regulations that pertain to the operating of facilities entrusted to the Facility Partners to manage on behalf of the client as owner.Manage, coordinate, and exercise functional responsibility for Facility Management services within assigned facilities and geography.Prepare, submit and manage facility budgets with the clients’ goals and objectives addressed, track variances and ensure smooth recovery process.Support prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements from 3rd party tenants occupying space with the accounts.Responsible for overall team management, staff development and planning. Execute staff succession and growth plans.For every direct report, build actionable and measurable career development plans, direct report in consistent conversations regarding progress.Support the IFM Team in the implementation of short and long-term projects for the client project.Develop and implement innovative programs, processes and procedures that reduce short- and long-term operating costs and increase productivity by working closely with the Facility Management Lead and the client.Oversee the appropriate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting appropriate for the client.Oversee the development and management of the capital and expense budgets by interfacing closely with the client representative.Matrix manages both technical and administrative staff.Oversee multiple facilities of different functions.Supervise vendor performance during normal and off hours including weekends when necessary.Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.

Monday through Friday, Dayshift + On Call Availability

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

8+ years of relevant working experience in a Bio-Pharma facility a plus!Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.Minimum of 8 years of experience in GMP/GXP facility management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.Professional certifications such as Certified Pharmaceutical GMP Professional (CPGP).Experience with cleanroom operations and contamination control strategies.Knowledge of Quality Risk Management (QRM) principles and tools.Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) in GxP environments.Experience in managing validation and qualification processes for facilities and equipment.Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, and other relevant GxP guidelines.Understanding of FDA, EMA, and other relevant regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale regulated facilities and teams.Experience in managing environmental monitoring programs and maintaining controlled environments.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in facility management software, quality management systems, and MS Office suite.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

130,000.00 – 180,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
