What this job involves –
The Senior Facilities Manager will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our existing portfolio of facilities while leading the successful launch of new buildings. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of facilities management best practices, and experience in coordinating large-scale building openings. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure that all facilities operate efficiently, are compliant with regulations, and meet the needs of the business.

Facilities Oversight:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple facilities, ensuring they are safe, secure, and operating efficiently. The facilities are comprised of a mix of owned and leased manufacturing plants and distribution centers.Develop and implement maintenance schedules for routine and preventive care of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).Manage facility budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions for maintenance, repair, and improvement projects.Ensure facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations regarding health, safety, and environmental standards.Lead the management of vendors, contractors, and third-party service providers for facility maintenance and improvements.Implement and oversee the transition plan for new buildings, ensuring all facilities systems are up and running smoothly from day one.Team Leadership & Collaboration:Lead and mentor a team of facilities management professionals across various locations.Collaborate with the HR, IT, and Operations teams to ensure seamless integration of facilities with daily business operations.Provide leadership and guidance in emergency preparedness, crisis management, and response protocols.Train and develop staff on best practices for facilities management and safety standards.Strategic Planning & Improvement:Analyze facility performance and identify areas for improvement, including cost optimization, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives.Develop long-term strategies for the continued growth and expansion of the facilities portfolio, including planning for future building launches.Work closely with senior leadership to align facilities management with overall business objectives.Sound like you? Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.Proven experience in launching and managing new building openings and large-scale facilities projects.Extensive knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety protocols.Strong understanding of facilities management software, project management tools, and building automation systems.Skills:
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.Excellent project management, organizational, and multitasking skills.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Knowledge of budgeting and financial management in a facilities context.Ability to handle crisis situations with a calm and solution-oriented approach.In-depth knowledge of building regulations, compliance, and health & safety standards.Estimated total compensation for this position:
156,000.00 – 170,000.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
