Our client, a leader in facility management, is seeking a Senior Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Senior Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operational excellence of the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Senior Facilities Technician
**Location:** Pontiac, MI
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform maintenance and repairs to preserve the physical assets of the building, systems, and equipment.
+ Utilize preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance of facility systems.
+ Maintain spare and replacement parts inventories to support operational needs.
+ Participate in safety training and compliance initiatives to promote a safe work environment.
+ Collaborate with facility and operations managers to address maintenance issues and improve processes.
**What's Needed?**
+ Ten plus years of facility maintenance experience preferred.
+ Journeyman certification in HVAC, Electrical, Machine Repair, or Mechanical craft areas.
+ Experience with pumps, motors, speed and feed systems, and hydraulics.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of maintenance systems such as MAXIMO.
+ Familiarity with building automation and monitoring systems.
