Under the United States (U.S.) Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering (GILE) program, Team V2X will provide: global multi-disciplined engineering; facilities; sustainment and maintenance of non-standard (non-Program of Record) and Program of Record intelligence systems to include the integration of new intelligence technologies and capabilities; Portal management; hardware design and integration; network management; technology development and application; and supply chain / logistics support to INSCOM, U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), Army Intelligence, Joint Forces, Combatant Commands, and the Intelligence Community (IC). Team V2X will enable INSCOM’s mission of anticipating requirements and employing innovative techniques to equip and sustain Soldiers, Civilians, systems, and facilities. As a dedicated partner to INSCOM G4, Team V2X is committed to enhancing readiness as part of Combined, Joint, and IC interdependent teams supporting tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units, personnel, ground and aerial intelligence equipment, operation facilities, and infrastructure from multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations.
This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Responsibilities
+ Analyze, diagnose, and repair DDC control systems and unit controllers, including Chillers, DX units, Air-handlers, Fan coil units, CRAH units, in-row coolers, and other building HVAC system components.
+ Perform end-to-end testing, programming, start up, performance verification, and servicing on assigned project, including variable frequency drives, wiring, and control panels of these systems.
+ Perform day-to-day operations of variety building operations systems as needed, including Tridium Niagara Open Framework controls system and other common closed framework controls system such as JCI Metasys, etc.
+ Using a variety of hand tools, interpret control drawings, plans, and specifications to mount, assemble, test, and program the controls system.
+ Maintain and update system schematics through red line system changes and create, if necessary, mechanical and control system schematics.
+ Create control algorithms, download source code to controllers manage system databases, and implement an animated front-end graphical user interface.
+ Maintain Controls Database with up-to-date digitalized hardware manuals, notes, photos, schematics, and UL data.
+ Maintain logs of temperature, humidity, and pressure differentials of operating rooms and other critical spaces.
+ Coordinate critical space testing and make any repairs or adjustments to electrical controls of HVAC equipment to maintain temperature, humidity, and pressure differentials per regulatory requirements.
+ Respond to during / after hour service calls and PM inspections, and produce reports in writing through computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) regarding malfunctioning / inoperable equipment. Diagnose causes of problems and/or failures in HVAC systems and make repairs quickly, requiring good judgement to locate malfunctions.
+ Respond to emergency situations, such as HVAC outages, to minimize or prevent loss of property, damage to research activities, and disruption to life-safety systems.
+ Supports U.S. Army systems on site whenever and wherever deployed. Available to deploy to other countries and/or theaters to perform quick reaction technical support to U.S. forces worldwide, military contingency missions, and requirements in potentially hazardous work environments.
+ Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift 50 lbs.
Qualifications
Education / Certifications:
+ Associate's degree in related field, or Vocational Education and a minimum of six (6) years of experience with valid Licensure or Certification as a Control Systems Technician at the State Level or equivalent; OR
+ Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent and eight (8) years of experience with a valid license, or equivalent at a state level; OR
+ Eight (8) years of military or civilian equivalent experience in control system operations.
Security Clearance Requirement:
+ Must be a US Citizen with Final Top-Secret Clearance based upon a TIER 5 Background Investigation, and favorable eligibility determination for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) IAW ICD 704.
+ Some positions or assignments may require a Counterintelligence (CI) Scope Polygraph, especially those requiring access to TDN2.
Experience / Skills:
+ Thorough understanding of control theory and control concept.
+ Knowledge on automation systems, HVAC, electrical and building operation with proven analytical and troubleshooting skills.
+ Knowledge in setting up Ethernet and RS485 network infrastructure (routers, switches), BACnet and LON network infrastructure.
+ Working experience with Windows 7, 10, MS Server and MS Office software including Excel, Access and Work.
+ Four (4) years of experience with HVAC control and monitoring systems and their components.
+ Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
