What this opportunity involves:
As the Senior Facilities Manager, you’ll join our client account for a global leader in technology managing their key sites. You will be experienced in providing outstanding site services management, proactively leading, monitoring and controlling all portfolio activities.
Leading a diverse and multi-talented team of over 15 specialists, you will role model integrity and accountability whilst maintaining a sense of fun in a fast paced environment. Authenticity and a genuine desire to deliver professional, value-focused services exceeding the Clients expectations will drive your success.
An Overview of the role:
Leadership & Team Management:
Experienced in actively encouraging an environment of teamwork, cooperation, high performance and individuals success, you will realise that the team’s success means your success
Your style of people management will be proactive. You will engage in building a deep understanding of your teams aspirations and career goals, you will be committed to coaching, mentoring and tackling issues head on by building plans to address areas of development
Team development will be thoughtfully achieved through skills and performance assessments, timely training, regular 1:1’s, follow ups and oversight will allow you to manage your team’s workload
Understanding the criticality of hiring, promoting or developing the right people at the right time, you will engage closely with internal COE’s and HR to effectively resource and build workforce planning and succession plans for our teams and vendors
Encouraging your teams to engage with peers on other accounts, attending JLL Integrated Facilities Management events to share knowledge, best practice and sharing market updates will be a key focus
Client & Stakeholder Management:

Able to navigate a highly matrixed organisation with finesse and balance Clients / stakeholders competing priorities, effectively evaluating and executing independently
A people person, you’ll understand the value of true collaboration and build strong relationships with our HQ, peers and our accounts vendors / partners / project peers (eg, food, security, IT etc)
Responsible for achieving all KPI’s and SLA’s in the Client contract through continuous delivery of exceptional quality service
Operations:
Further development of SOP’s and ensuring smooth procedural implementation will provide seamless service. You will be skilled in simplification and accuracy improvement of work methods to ensure reliability of systems and consistency of delivery
Critical to the role, your input on developing space planning ideas and strategies that meet the changing demands of the business creating both strategic and tactical solutions is key
You’ll play an important role in ensuring the delivery of major/minor capital works projects and associated moves / changes are done in accordance to the guidelines set by our Client
Budgeting and spend management will be a finely tuned skill, you will own financial processes and controls to ensure that the country’s financial operations are meeting or exceeding targets
Educating your team on compliance with JLL and our Client’s H&SE (health & safety environment) and Risk Management policies and procedures
A component of your role will be supporting UX (User Experience) programs, new technology system / tool roll-outs, training programs / workshops etc, through driving implementation and consistency
Reporting, analysis, data driven decisions will be your , you’ll be confident and well informed when conducting presentations
Sourcing & Vendor Management:
Oversee all vendor contracts to ensure that they are professionally delivered with value for money outcomes, well-monitored and re-negotiated as required to ensure the best value to the Client
Ensure the strategic sourcing initiatives across the portfolio are followed and all the JLL provided tools are utilised.
Provide guidance to the site teams to ensure appropriate processes are followed to conduct major sourcing/procurement activities
Ensure vendors performance is managed, and all services are delivered as per the contract
Sounds like you? This is what we are looking for:
Experience in a large scale FM Account/Portfolio management experience in a multinational environment with tactical experience of vendor management, budgeting & spend management, sourcing, space planning/MAC, hard services and office fit-out projects
Experience working in a tech sector environment an advantage
Excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders
Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements
Knowledge of critical facilities
Knowledge of vendor management for specialized services
Has an understanding of basic technical aspects of property (Computer Room Air-conditioning, Chiller system, Fire Protection system, Mechanical & Electrical system, BMS system)
Ability to understand and interpret commercial contracts
Strong budget management and financial analysis skills
Strong PC literacy and proven ability to manage daily activities using various systems.
Experience with Client reporting and preparation of reports
