P&W is seeking an exceptional candidate to fill the role of Senior Fellow – Advanced Technology, reporting to the Director, Advanced Concepts & Technology This is a key strategic role that will help define and manage the P&W and RTX technology strategy **What You Will Do:** + Own technology maturation process, including applicable P&W procedures + Advocate for technology adoption in programs and technology/architecture commonality across businesses + Attend all Technology Design Reviews as quorum member + Advocate for and oversee quality of all Technology Development Plans + Participate as member of Integrated Technology Management Team + Act as discipline leader of technology community, including training and mentoring + Support cross-RTX technology interactions + Represent technology within Systems Discipline + Identify and support improvements to technology process + Represent PW technology for speaking engagements (internal/external) as needed + Support technology business development activities as needed + Support patent review teams as needed + Connecticut work location preferred. 10-30% travel **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, or related engineering field, + 20+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 15+ years of relevant experience, + Familiarity with technology maturation process including Technology Readiness Level (TRL) + Experience in the aviation, turbomachinery and/or gas turbine industries, + Excellent communication skills, including 1-on-1, public speaking, and written communications + U.S. citizen is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under certain program/contract **Qualifications We Prefer:** + Ph.D. in relevant field + Industry level recognition of expertise + Experience with technology maturation for complex systems + Experience with process and procedure ownership + Experience with gas turbine engine design and development + Experience with creating, identifying, and managing intellectual property + Ability to obtain US security clearance + Connecticut work location **What We Offer:** + Benefits + Relocation In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility. The salary range for this role is 176,000 USD - 352,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
