Service Operations Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines. Each day, you will deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by working with customer to identify opportunities in the installed base, to improve system performance and operational performance.The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Motion Service Business Area in Mexico.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tContributing to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectations.•\tEnsuring customer retention by delivering superior customer experience and effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.•\tTaking actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB, in close cooperation with customer and other ABB teams.•\tCoaching technicians and engineers and supervising complex site activities.Our team dynamicsYou will join a high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the role\tYou have 3+ years of experience in predictive and preventive maintenance of frequency converters (Drives).\tAbility to demonstrate your technical knowledge in electric motors and generators in low, medium and high voltage.\tHave established skills in the use and management of laser aligners, vibration analyzers, thermographic analysis, management of PDMA electrical measurement equipment\tYou are at ease communicating in English in an intermediate level.\tYou have availability to travel. Valid driver’s license is desirable.\tBachelor’s degree in Automation, Electronic, Electromechanical Engineering or related field.
