Summary:

Develops, monitors, tracks, performs and reports financial processes and analysis to maximize operations, improve processes, and increase revenue, while reducing costs as it relates to department financials; scope includes all Operating, Capital and Project Replacement financials and budgets.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial data related to departmental budgets, operating expenses, capital expenses. May include Cash Flow Analysis, GAAP compliance, revenues, expenses and accruals for monthly & year end projections for operating and capital budgets.

• May prepare and analyze financial data for Regulatory Agencies, i.e. IRS 990 tax exempt return, NJ Charitable Registration, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.

• Analyze financial trends for operating & capital budget detail utilizing dashboards on a bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

• Provide support to management in the financial management process and distribute financial reports as appropriate.

• Tracks and processes financial data (may include requisitions, invoices, expenses, check requests) and ensures audit compliance.

• Develop tools and create standards for tracking and monitoring financial processes for department-specific financials and budgets and mentors and coaches finance staff.

• Provide educational and financial analysis to Operational Managers in order for them to adequately monitor operating expenses, budgeting, balance sheet, capital expenditures and/or cost benefit analysis or other analysis of existing or proposed services with Decision Support System Tools.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:

3-5 years progressive finance/accounting experience focusing on financial analysis and accounting.

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.

MBA desirable.
