Senior Finance Analyst

Introduction to team 

Our Corporate Functions are made up of teams that support Expedia Group, including Employee Communications, Finance, Legal, People Team, Inclusion and Diversity, and Global Social Impact and Sustainability.

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Finance Analyst, with a proven track record of achieving results through business partnership, to join the Services Finance Team supporting the Expedia Travel and Partner Services Platform (TPSP). In this role you will work closely with the Business Operations and peer Finance teams. You will be a key contributor in developing the strategic directions of the customer services operations across the Expedia Group major brands (Brand Expedia, Hotel.com, Vrbo, PLS) and collaborating with the business to meet key milestones. A successful candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work well with all levels of the cross-functional teams and break down obstacles to ensure the success of the business.

In this role, you will:

Collaborate with business partners in the development of successful product strategies across brandsUnderstand performance of customer services per product and shape the story of recent trendsCollaborate with Business partners for forecast validationResponsible for FTE forecasting for the business unitsIdentify opportunities to improve variable cost of salesDrive process improvement through effective collaboration and partnership and influence decision-making to ensure business partners meet the financial objectives of the organizationDevelop financial models and business cases that require detailed analysis for use in management decision making and contract negotiations

Experience and qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ Accounting / Finance / Economics, MBA a plus4+ years professional Finance or Accounting experienceVery organized and detail oriented, with the ability to work on multiple projects within tight timelinesAbility to see the ‘big picture’ and understand key trends and leversStrong quantitative and analytical skills with ability to convert raw data into actionable business insightsProactive and solutions-oriented approach towards business problems and process improvementsDemonstrated understanding of forecasting / planning processes and preparation of executive-level management reportingExcellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with all levels of management and stakeholders across different organizationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsExperience with Oracle, Hyperion, Business Objects, Tableau, Teradata, SQL a plus

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $82,500.00 to $115,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $132,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
