Senior Finance Analyst - CIB COO Finance

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join CIB FP&A, supporting the Corporate Investment Business COO and Support organizations (Executive Admin, Strategy, Chief of Staff, Project Investments).  The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the build out of the next generation of reporting and analysis for Business Leadership as well Finance Leadership. This role partner directly with the business to assure accurate forecasts and expense initiatives are maintained on a monthly/quarterly basis.

In this role you will:

Identify opportunities for efficient and effective support in providing key finance services such as management reporting and research for key metric forecasting

Organize and lead meetings to explain financial results to business leaders and challenge LOBs to be as cost efficient as possible

Assist in enhancing performance metrics and reporting requirements as needed; Develop insights and narratives for leadership

Maintain monthly and quarterly Finance routines, including:

Preparing standardized monthly reporting packages (and meeting with the LOBs as needed) to review financial actuals, highlighting drivers for increases/declines.

Managing a headcount and expense forecasting framework, identifying ways to make the process simpler for all those involved.

Forecast and plan for the CIB Support team

Assist the LOBs in researching incoming and outgoing allocations (INIE) to understand key drivers and challenge where appropriate.

Cleaning up and aligning the finance hierarchy to create transparency as well as incorporate move the line activities

Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive consensus and deliver forward-looking solutions 

Central point of contact for financial-related issues ensuring a timely resolution

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

4+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, data management, business analysis or a combination

Essbase experience with expertise in retrieving data

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

4+ years of experience with headcount planning and expense management

Knowledge and understanding of data quality and challenges

Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner

Ability to work both independently and/or within a team environment, is self-motivated, and flexible/adaptable to change
