Senior Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to support our Specialised Pavements and Pavement Rehabilitation businesses across Australia. The key purpose of this role is to support operations to understand and utilise financial information to drive performance.

Reporting to the GM Finance T&I AU you will work closely with the operational General Managers to implement and drive strategic initiatives and be a trusted advisor providing financial support and decision making by building and maintaining strong relationships. This role can be based in Sydney or Adelaide.

ABOUT YOU

Tertiary Qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or related field as well as CPA or CA qualification. 7-10 years’ experience working in a complex contracted services or engineering environment, with financial management accountabilities at a senior level of a very large business. Proven track record of project accounting experience, driving financial performance improvement in a fast-paced, high-volume and complex multi-discipline environment. Experience in providing in-depth insights and analysis on key project performance drivers. Ability to effectively interact with and adapt to different leadership styles, addressing issues as they arise with flexibility and expertise. Hands-on business accounting experience, budgeting, forecasting, month-end and P&L management & reporting. Flexibility with travel in order to support both the Specialised Pavements and Pavement Rehabilitation businesses where relevant. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to break down complex matters for all stakeholders. High attention to detail, with a successful working knowledge of policy, regulations, contractual requirements and risk.
