The Position
As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be leading the market and sales forecast for the assigned therapy area as well as corresponding performance assessment. Moreover, you are going to work with FP&A core processes such as rolling forecasts, monthly and year-end closings and resource allocation. You will also be a business partner to business units, supporting in financial processes, business cases and projects, besides challenging decisions from a financial perspective. The role will also allow you to run projects and be part of cross-functional teams, with active participation and accountability.
Your responsibilities will include:
Analysing sales performance and partner with areas to understand the underlying elements of variances regarding patients and wholesaler demands; Leading the yearly landing process, coordinating actions across areas to ensure the financial closing as expected and accurate submissions to the Regional Office. Driving the planning processes (AB/RE) and updated sales outlook for assigned therapy area, working cross-functionally with Customer Insights, Market Access and Marketing areas to get insights related to competitors landscape, access and strategy to project the P&L with clear outline of base case, risks and opportunities; Being a Business partner to Business Units, Customer Insights and Market Access for development of business cases, performance analysis, being part of projects, launch teams and presentations related to financial performance, besides challenging them with the financial perspective on key performance metrics. You will also be assisting the Head of the Business Finance department with the improvement of processes and coordinating the team in specific deliverables.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must hold a master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting. An MBA or participation in a similar development program is a plus. Additional requirements include:
A proven track record of 5+ years in a similar position as a Finance Business Partner, Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Information, or Business Insights & Analytics. Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in a multinational company is required. Advanced in SAP, Excel, Power Point and Business Intelligence tools, such as PowerBI and/or QlikSense. Fluency in both Spanish and English, both spoken and written.
The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, contributing to analyses and projects by collaborating with others and synthesizing conclusions to drive project and analytical development. You are self-motivated, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, maintaining a positive attitude while addressing and resolving challenges. You excel in multitasking and perform well in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
