Senior Finance Manager, Central Finance Team
+ The goal of Central Finance Team (CFT) is to provide key insights that help Microsoft make better financial and business decisions. Our team is at the hub of Microsoft's financial activities, being a key strategic partner to all sides of the business and serving a diverse set of stakeholders: CFOs, Senior Leadership Team, engineering groups, and sales and marketing teams. Through our Centralized Budgeting and Forecasting priorities in partnership with teams across Finance function, we are aiming for such processes to become modern, simple, standardized and centralized to allow our Field leaders and finance resources to focus energy on driving growth and world class execution. We are looking for a **Senior Finance Manager, Central Finance Team** who will play a key role in understanding and messaging our company-wide financial targets and quarterly earnings results. As a Senior Finance Manager, you will be part of a fast-paced v-team and focus on transforming our Planning processes by translating large data sets into critical information and insights to enable sound business decisions. You will evolve, improve, and execute our data sourcing, structuring, modeling, analysis and reporting functions across these processes, and also lead design and implementation of new and innovative solutions from scratch. In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day. **Responsibilities** + Deliver Field Annual/Semester Targets cascade and support Field in Budgeting ensuring governance and controls end to end for Finance related processes + Deliver centralized Adjusted Gross Revenue review for Commercial Revenue including Seasonality reviews + Partner with Engineering Finance to analyze commercial revenue drivers and market data for Commercial Revenue Targets and budgets. Produce insight and influence growth + Foreign Exchange (FX) analysis on revenue targetsduring fiscal rollover activity, in close partnership with Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions Group (MCAPS) planning team + Embody our culture and values **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field + OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field + OR equivalent experience **Preferred Qualifications** + Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or Finance work experience OR equivalent experience + Experience defining business requirements, with ability to develop rapid prototypes and proofs-of-concept to test effectiveness of said requirements and accelerate time to production + Familiarity with Microsoft financial processes and reporting technologies & systems, such as MS Sales, Mercury, MS People, Plancast, MSRA, etc. + Organized self-starter skilled at balancing multiple projects and effectively managing priorities + Deep financial and business understanding; Commercial revenue experience a plus + Cross-group collaboration skills including the ability to communicate effectively with executive management Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
