You will manage financial planning and analysis of North American Supply Chain.  You will help directors prepare business proposals, verify assumptions, check for daily execution and support delivery of objectives, ensuring the integrity and timeliness of reporting. You will also manage a Finance team and may manage a third-party team.

How you will contribute

You will:

Manage aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions potentially including strategic plan and annual contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modeling and decision support for a focused scope within CS&L.

You will own data integrity for managed scope.

Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment at Mondelēz International. You will also ensure that policies are understood in the organization and that proper controls and compliance are in place.

Partner with the business providing critical financial data and insights to enable directors and wider business perspectives for strategy and decisions.

Drive for harmonization, efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and build a mindset of continuous improvement within the Finance team.

Build a high-performing Finance team. You will also recruit and develop Finance talent and drive our Finance talent agenda with a focus on the local FP&A pipeline.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in financial planning and performance management including data structuring/validation, analyzing, planning and reporting company financial performance across all financial KPIs and strategy development, investment decisions and cost management to achieve financial targets.

BUSINESS ACUMEN and understanding of our business, consumer packaged goods industry, and local snacking market dynamics. Relevant experience in a regional business.

LEADERSHIP SKILLS including experiences with business partnering and communication across a large regional (or global), public company; experience of working as a finance leader managing a wider finance team and support/act as business to make decisions and drive execution to deliver results.

GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to identify opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager, CS&L who will support Supply Chain in the North America region. This leader will partner with Supply Chain Finance team, Supply Chain leadership, Category and Central Finance for North American region and Global Supply Chain function, ensuring highest quality of analysis to drive business results and strategic agenda for the function.


Key Responsibilities

Lead forecasting cycles across NA MSC through calendar management, stakeholders’ alignment both within and outside of MSC (e.g. Commercial Finance, etc.), managing relevant meeting/forums, planning tools, presentations and reports

Lead actual reporting with variance analysis, strong connection to underlying operational performance, commercial space, accounting

Control the areas of Finished Goods Waste including Liquidations of damaged and short shelf life products; Ensure correct and complete reporting including appropriate provisions;

Business partner with End-to-End War on Waste Leads, Commercial finance team, LogOps teams, End to End Planning Team, Quality and SSMT teams to ensure timely reflection of the information in financial results. Partner with various stakeholders to drive reduction of the FG waste across the supply chain.

Provide an overarching view of Supply Chain operations, linking to the underlying business drivers; where relevant – connecting with Commercial activities and decisions

Drive continuous improvement within MSC FP&A space with the focus on transparency, clarity, automation, standardization, efficiency, speed. 

Support or lead implementation of new and improved business software and tools including standard processes, guidelines, and setup required for the assigned projects 

Oversee and manage areas of responsibility of direct report(s)

Support relevant areas in the Strategic Planning cycles.

Demonstrated strong financial, operational and business acumen; strong achievement and results orientation.  

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required, Masters/CPA preferred

10 or more years of Finance experience is required 

Prior Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) experience

Deep knowledge of Supply chain operations

FP&A experience

Strong decision making, inputs and outcomes

Strong technical skills required (e.g. ERP systems, Business reporting and consolidation tools, business analysis software, Excel)

Strong strategic and analytical skills

Outstanding leadership skills with previous management experience required

Strong team player who manages collaboratively with all stakeholders 

Strong influencing and communication skills, and ability to lead teams 

The base salary range for this position is $137,300 to $188,825; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
