Senior Finance Manager
Summary: D&G is seeking an exceptional Senior Finance Manager as a key member of our rapidly growing business supporting a multiple DHS, DoD and other Federal Clients. You will report directly to the CFO as an integral part of our accounting and finance client services team, leading our support throughout the entire accounting lifecycle. Position Description:
+ Leads the preparation and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency for internal and external stakeholders.
+ Leads the development and management of Unanet based financials, to include reports and dashboards in order to provide senior leadership and program managers with timely and accurate financial status.
+ Manages payroll, income, expenses, deposits, reports and other day-to-day finance activities Prepares monthly management financial reporting packages, including variance analysis.
+ Supports the development of and implementation of internal controls, accounting policies, processes and procedures to comply with all state and federal regulations and US GAAP.
+ Proactively identifies opportunities to revise or create new policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting department.
Required Skills, and Abilities:
+ Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree and accounting, finance or related field.
Minimum Experience:
+ 7 years of accounting/financial experience with DoD, DHS or Federal Agency programs.
+ 3 years of management experience supervising financial team(s)
+ Experience creating financial reports /forecasts in Unanet or similar software applications.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
+ Ability to independently analyze company financials to support recommendations on reporting, metrics and compliance.
+ Ability to prepare and deliver financial briefings in support of monthly/quarterly program reviews.
