Senior Finance Manager – Beverage Concentrate

This position is responsible for leading all aspects of finance and related compliance for our beverage concentrate manufacturing facilities in Ireland and the US as well as supporting the execution of strategic goals and leading our financial planning process for these facilities. Beverage Concentrate is the most profitable business segment, shipping over 1 billion equivalent cases annually.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Direct Business Partnering:

Lead financial review processes with business groups and partner with site leadership to ensure effective controllership and cost management, reducing costs and driving efficiencies. Have a deep and thorough understanding of costs versus benefits across both sites to help leadership make decisions on how to best allocate production between the BC sites. Responsible for preparing weekly and monthly financial reports and recommendations to management for delivering long and short-term business objectives for the Beverage Concentrate Sites in St. Louis and Newbridge.Support the BC operations team in driving productivity through data insights and ensure appropriate tracking of actual productivity delivered.Drives change to streamline financial processes, procedures and improve effectiveness and efficiencies of financial reporting. Leverage strong relationships with operations and IT teams to effectively prioritize those objectives that are high impact to the BC business P&L.Be the financial SME on SAP, PA, and Alcohol TTB taxes for St. Louis and Newbridge. Lead standardization and continuous improvement across BC SAP systems, reducing complexity where possible; be able to translate issues into action plans, including troubleshooting settlement and/or costing issues. Train the operations team regarding GAAP standards and work with them to identify and correct gaps/workarounds in the process that may result in inefficiencies or inaccurate P&L results.

Budget/Forecasting/Action Planning:

Lead the preparation and execution of the monthly financial accounting closing process (this includes running settlement in St. Louis and Material Ledger Close support in Newbridge.)Lead the preparation of our forecasts and annual budgeting process for these manufacturing sites with a deep understanding of all cost drivers to provide and build accurate and challenging budgets and forecastsResponsible for reviewing the standard costing model and determine annual labor and overhead rates. Be the SME for the SAP process for costing and direct labor, overhead and depreciation rates across both SAP processes. Ensure accurate results and numbers in Planning Analytics for BC by working with the FP&A team.Prioritize activities and align with stakeholders to deliver results with a high degree of verifiable predictability. Target of forecast accuracy of 98%. Coordinate activities with corporate accounting to ensure accurate financial results and other financial closing activities.

Decision Support:

Drive efficiency and decision support by managing the development and automation of our weekly manufacturing finance reporting models, including flash, volume and MUV.Continuously partner with Operations to drive improvements in production using data gleaned from financial reports. Hold quarterly meetings to brainstorm ways to improve processes and drive results to the P&L.Proactively drive analysis around business performance by making sense of raw data, completing root cause analysis to understand key drivers, then use this data to assist the Operations team in improving financial performanceChampion technology and process automation, including the implementation of new tools and dashboards where appropriate. Partner with IT for solutions to automate and streamline reporting for the BC segment.Perform financial reporting, ad-hoc project analyses, and financial modeling

Select, build, mentor, and coach talent to develop a high performing team for BC finance.Participate in projects directly related to BC or in cross functional areas 10% to 30% of the time to further career development training and develop new skills essential to the future of Keurig Dr Pepper Requirements Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) 7+ years PQE experience in positions that require analysis and reporting financial results, analyzing and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports and dashboards to lead business improvement and cost reductions.Expert in Excel and experience with SAPEnsure compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, accounting standards and proceduresDemonstrated financial acumen and/or analytical experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of resultsProven ability to manage competing priorities & providing level-headed guidance during unexpected events.Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively while applying excellent business judgment. This includes working cross functionally to accurately identify opportunities and then prioritizing which solution will have the highest impact to the P&L.Excellent oral and written skills to communicate complex issues and influence others internally and externally, with a customer-focused, professional demeanorStrong interpersonal skills and ability gain respect of senior managementAbility to work successfully in an ambiguous environment including an ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload and drive projects to completionAbility to travel; up to 10% travel may be required.
