The Senior Finance Manager will be a strategic partner to Finance and Business segment leaders of a $20B Revenue segment matrixed across Geography and six Customer Group verticals. Primary responsibility is providing analytics, modeling, actionable insights and decision support. Additionally, this role will lead analysis to maximize the financial returns of capacity expansions and asset allocation strategies across our sites, operational functions, and initiatives in a high-growth environment.

Location:

This role is approved to be either Remote within the United States or Hybrid for candidates in Newport News, VA, in accordance with company policy. 

Responsibilities:

Use data and analytics to find opportunities for the business to drive growth and enhance operating margins.

Be the subject matter expert on standardized Management reporting needs and drive changes based on ongoing feedback from business leaders.

Facilitate ad-hoc management reporting needs that drive immediate insights.

Lead, coach, mentor and develop 5-7 direct reports at Financial Analyst and Senior Financial Analyst levels.

Provide oversight and create consistencies in new or changing budgeting/forecasting processes

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance or equivalent (MBA or CPA is a plus).

A minimum of 8-10+ years of related experience, preferably within the wholesale sector and/or large distribution network.

Strong analytical skills and intuition for business with the ability to derive insights from sophisticated data.

Excellent prioritization and organizational skills under pressure and ability to deal with ambiguity/change.

Strong leader/delegator that holds self and others accountable, but willingness to be hands on as needed (often).

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI and financial modeling.

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

$7,949.70 - $13,016.30

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
