Roles and Responsibilities
Finance Leader for multiple GE sites (Bohemia, NY and Newark, DE)Up to 20% travel required.Work closely with Accounting team to ensure proper financial reportingResponsible for financial forecastingResponsible for understanding contractual requirementsPartner with Management teamWork with the operations team to manage strategy, budget, forecasting, monthly operating reviews, and close activities.Partner with program management team to develop strategy and financials for major projects / contracts.Monitor actual project / contract cost vs. plan / forecast and identify suggestions to improve profitability and cashflow.Use lean and automation to identify and support the implementation of process improvements for financial forecasting, planning, reporting, and systemsEffectively communicate financials and objectives to leadership.Perform special analysis of major issues as required and recommend solutions to complex business issues. May lead projects with cross functional teamsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.At least 7 years of experience in financial management, project management and/or Earned Value Management.Ability to obtain a US Federal Government security clearance.Desired Qualifications
