This exciting role as a Finance\r\nSenior Systems Analyst within the Central Finance team offers a unique\r\nopportunity to oversee Finance systems, primarily Oracle ERP, and its\r\ninterfaces with third-party systems. In this position, you will provide expert\r\nguidance and support to users while playing a key role in the Finance community\r\nby managing the intranet pages and central SharePoint site. You will\r\nparticipate in the transformation of financial processes, collaborate with our\r\nRPA team, promote innovation, optimise workflows, and ensure alignment with the\r\nbroader Finance strategy.
What you will be doing:
Oracle ERP and Finance Systems Coordination
Process Improvement and System\r\nOptimisation
Identifying, recommending,\r\n and implementing process improvements for Oracle ERP. Managing the Oracle ERP\r\n enhancement backlog using Microsoft DevOps to prioritise and track system\r\n improvements. Ensuring best practices for\r\n Oracle ERP processes are established, maintained, and compliant with\r\n business rules. Reviewing Oracle upgrades,\r\n coordinating testing, and integrating enhancements into existing\r\n processes.User Engagement and Support
Lead regular review meetings\r\n with Finance SMEs and Oracle module owners, tracking outcomes, and\r\n ensuring follow-through on actions. Supporting user acceptance\r\n testing (UAT) phases, including training new users, creating training\r\n materials, and facilitating training sessions. Recording and\r\n troubleshooting Oracle ERP issues alongside the Systems Support team and\r\n communicating updates to the user community.Collaboration and\r\nCommunication
Developing and maintaining\r\n documentation for standard work processes and system functionality. Conducting regular access\r\n reviews for Oracle/Project View and ensuring compliance with policies,\r\n procedures, and controls. Working collaboratively with\r\n the Finance Transformation Team to support RPA and transformational\r\n system-related initiatives. Managing Finance intranet\r\n pages and SharePoint sites, coordinating with SMEs across the function to\r\n ensure accurate and up-to-date information. By fostering collaboration\r\n and ensuring effective coordination of system-related activities, this\r\n role ensures the seamless operation of Finance systems and supports the\r\n broader strategic goals of the Finance function.What you’ll bring:
ERP Expertise: Proven\r\n experience in the coordination or management of ERP systems, with a strong\r\n understanding of ERP processes and modules. Project Leadership:\r\n Demonstrated ability to lead small to medium-sized IT projects from\r\n inception through to successful completion. Stakeholder Engagement:\r\n Experience managing multiple levels of stakeholders, ensuring clear\r\n communication and alignment across different groupsProblem-Solving: Excellent\r\n analytical skills, with a focus on creating innovative and effective\r\n solutions to complex challenges. Collaboration and\r\n Resolution: Strong ability to work effectively with individuals and teams\r\n across various functions and geographies, ensuring issues are managed and\r\n resolved efficiently. Technical Proficiency:\r\n Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, enabling data analysis and\r\n reporting.It would be great if you had:
Oracle ERP Knowledge:\r\n Familiarity with Oracle ERP is highly desirable, particularly with modules\r\n such as AP, AR, EDI, FA, GL, OTL, PA, PO, and ISPO. RPA Applications: An\r\n understanding of applications and tools involved in Robotic Process\r\n Automation (RPA) processes. Power Platform Proficiency:\r\n Experience in creating reports using Power BI, as well as utilising Power\r\n Automate and Power Apps for workflow and application development.
