The associate will collaborate with audit and IT Risk teams, enhancing their expertise in Access Management functions and processes. They will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining robust access controls. They will assist in configuration and enhancements to ServiceNow to meet business requirements and improve overall system performance. Additionally, they will support finance application systems and perform GFS maintenance and reconciliation to ensure seamless financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensures compliance with SOX and IT policies by coordinating semi-annual recertifications and maintaining current entitlements for all supported applications.
* Leads small scale improvement projects for access controls and operational efficiency.
* Providing evidence for audit requests and working closely with internal and external audit teams.
* Assist in configuration and enhancements to ServiceNow to meet business requirements and improve overall system performance.
* Analyzes and resolves basic to complex accounting system issues in support of the financial close.
* Processes system maintenance requests for the general ledger and other Finance systems.
* Performs daily and monthly accounting system control activities.
* Partners with peers both in region and globally to ensure seamless services, uniformity of processes and continuous service improvement.
* Maintenance of the GFS website by troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements to improve user experience.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
* Strong Excel skills, including a thorough understanding of formulas and advanced functionalities.
* Ability to present and communicate concisely and clearly in a manner that both financial & non-financial audiences can understand.
* MS Word, Visio, PowerPoint capabilities.
* Adapt to various work situations and work well with associates across all levels of management and geographies.
* Strong problem solving, analytical, time management, communications, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or MIS preferred.
* Knowledge of finance functions, processes and systems (PeopleSoft, Hyperion Suite, or equivalents).
* Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools and processes, including managing user access, entitlements, and permissions across various systems and applications.
* Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps, including designing and developing automated workflows and custom applications to improve business processes and productivity.
* Prior experience implementing process improvements using common methodologies (i.e. LEAN or Agile).
* Experience with SharePoint, MS Team, and HTML coding.
