JR57988 Senior Financial Accountant (Evergreen)This is a varied and challenging position and ideally would suit a qualified accountant looking for experience of a fast-paced multinational environment. The role is expected to evolve rapidly through streamlining and automating of processes. As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will focus on financial accounting and reporting for US GAAP close and local compliance matters.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage day-to-day accounting and operation activities with high complexityAnalyze and review data to determine appropriate balances and activitiesIdentify and highlight risk with mitigation control solutionPerform month-end close activities including preparing and reviewing journal entriesPrepare and present monthly account reconciliations, close analytics, variance analysis and ad hoc reportsReview legal agreements, where applicableManage internal and external auditMaintain expertise and ensure compliances to accounting GAAPs, policies, and SOX controlsProvide guidance and training to internal customers and peersLead and drive process improvement and automation to streamline end to end processesSupport internal & external stakeholdersPresent information to Finance ManagementProactively highlight challenges on financial data to Stakeholders and address risk and concernAd hoc tasks as assignedKey Skill/Competencies
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skillsSAP experience highly desirableExperience in Blackline, Model N, Ariba and Concur preferredExperience in data analysis & result orientedDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to act and operate independently with minimal supervision / directionAbility to work under strict deadlines in a rapidly changing environmentAbility to think broadly and connect-the-dot on complex mattersAbility to manage change sensitively and in a collaborative mannerJapanese or other foreign language skill set will be added advantageEducation & Experience
