Job Description : **Job Title:** **Senior Financial Accountant** **Location:** **Dublin** **About the Role** **We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented** **Senior Financial Accountant** **to join our team. You will have responsibility for day-to-day accounting operations for the finance function, including maintenance of accurate financial records, financial reporting, tax compliance, and risk management & controls.** **This is a key role in supporting the financial health and integrity of our organisation.** **Key Responsibilities** + **Responsible for managing day-to-day finance and accounting operations, acting as the main point of contact for outsourced finance activities and other intercompany partners** + **Manage the monthly and quarterly close process and related Group reporting** + **Ownership of general ledger reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded** + **Maintain robust financial controls and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures** + **Own and develop financial systems, and processes with a focus on continuous improvement** + **Partner with the Commercial Finance team on the annual budgeting process; acting as a trusted and visible point of contact to the key functional leads** + **Lead the preparation of annual financial statements, liaising with external auditors in a timely and efficient manner** + **Responsible for ensuring all statutory, tax and other compliance returns are completed on time** + **Manage the annual entity-level controls SOX program** + **Review of fortnightly/monthly payroll, partnering with our HR team and outsourced payroll advisors** + **Support cash flow management** + **Other areas of responsibility – project work, IDA Grant, RDTC** **Requirements** **Education and Experience** + **ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified** + **4+ years PQE** **working in fast-growing companies, ideally within the technology or media space** **Skills and Competencies** + **Strong understanding of US GAAP and FRS102** + **Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite)** + **Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.** + **Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.** + **Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams.** + **Ambitious, independent and adaptable worker with strong business acumen** + **Results-oriented, with proven ability to prioritise and deliver quality work in a challenging, fast-paced environment** Job Category: Storyful is the world’s social media intelligence agency.
