DescriptionThe Office of Financial Aid is in search of a Senior Financial Aid Assistant to join their amazing team!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advises students and parents regarding financial aid application process and eligibility requirements. Answers and directs incoming calls to the Financial Aid Office and serves as the first point of contact to customers and other visitors. Strong written and verbal communication skills required to resolve customer issues and concerns via Call Center and email management. Check data from completed forms, or other documents for accuracy and completeness. Accesses a variety of computer information systems and databases to retrieve, verify and enter data. Reviews audit reports and resolves errors to ensure integrity of data. Provides assistance to customers regarding data requirements and the status of paperwork. Ensures the receipt, sorting and distribution of mail. Responsible for assisting in the training of new employees and student employees. Performs related special projects and other responsibilities as needed. Overtime required during peak processing.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma or equivalent. Three years of customer service and/or data entry experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
