Job Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst, Business Planning and Support is responsible for all financial matters and all the daily operation of budgeting, LRP, forecasting and business tactical support.
Principal Duties:Oversee the daily operations of analysis, reporting and budgeting functions in support of selected business units.Prepare monthly and ad-hoc detailed analysis for certain administrative departments, ensuring all analysis provides value and actionable information for management to react to business issues or opportunities.Drive trend analyses for selected business units, as it relates to budget to actual performance and develop and maintain key business performance measures.Manage the project application process for selected programs, ensuring that financial analysis and cash flow analysis are prepared to justify expenditures. Work with various cross-functional departments to review project applications and ensure they are captured in the annual budgeting process.Support the company’s annual long range planning process by maintaining a complex financial model. Work closely with Finance leadership to develop, review, and report the final plan to Management and outside parties.Manage and support the company’s program planning process by collecting and consolidating of company-wide funding requests. Lead discussion with business owners on developing our annual program planning budget and coordinate monthly program release and approval meetings.Responsible for the company’s monthly P&L and capital forecasts and for creating and maintaining forecast models used for various Management reporting and planning activities.In conjunction with the business units, leverage external data sources and competitive information to identify short and long term business opportunities. Provide recommendations to Finance leadership on key initiatives.Work cross functionally with Corporate and Field Departments to improve corporate profitability and support strategic initiatives. Proactively identify improvement and savings opportunities and work with management to initiate change with the goal of improving overall company performance.Essential Functions:

Bachelors degree in Finance or Business discipline preferred; MBA or CPA a plus6 - 8 years of overall experience in a financial disciplineProficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)Technical knowledge of corporate financial statements, general accounting and process management procedures
