The Senior Financial Analyst in Ad Sales Finance will be responsible for forecasting and analyzing ad sales performance across Entertainment, Sports, and News. The position provides a unique opportunity to gain a solid understanding of FOX Corporation while supporting and interacting with finance, accounting, ad sales, research, technology, and pricing and planning. It will support the Digital ad sales functions for FOX Corporation and will be an active contributor to the FP&A responsibilities within the team. The Senior Financial Analyst will work directly with the Director and Manager.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Monthly Close
Assist with monthly financial close including revenue accrual entries and general ledger reconciliationPrepare monthly metrics reporting and detailed variance analysis Monitor key metrics (audience, pricing, sellout) and investigate as necessaryPrepare variance drivers and commentary for executive reporting packages and network finance teamsWork closely with Network finance and accounting teams to ensure accuracy of financial dataForecasting
Assist with Budget/Forecast process – Build/maintain complex models, revise for monthly/quarterly forecast submissions Work closely with peer groups (Network Research, Ad Sales Research, Sales, Sales Strategy) to gather forecasting inputs/assumptionsPerform sensitivity analysis highlighting financial impact of key assumptionsAd Hoc Analysis
Assist with developing new reporting and metrics to track the health of the business and the success of new initiativesMonitor performance of FOX’s Content and Digital propertiesField questions and requests from Network FinanceWHAT YOU WILL NEED
Accounting/Finance/Economics bachelor’s degree3-4 years of experience in corporate finance or accountingMicrosoft Excel (Advanced is preferred)General Ledger – Workday, SAP, Oracle, etc.Strong interest in Media/Digital industryNICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $36.00-48.08 per hour for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $30.00-40.00 per hour for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
