JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a motivated and career-oriented candidate with a proactive approach and strong analytical, Excel, and data set management skills. As Senior Financial Analyst, Digital and Ad Tech, you will step into a critical position responsible for financial modeling to support the labor capitalization and software development process.  The Senior Financial Analyst will work on monthly budgets and forecasts, key financial reporting, ad hoc analysis, tracking of KPIs, and creating dashboards and tools to review operational performance and initiatives.

This is a high-visibility and challenging position rich in data analytics. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing key budget/forecast and actuals analysis to understand the Digital Division's financial performance. This analysis is key to the management team’s decision-making and interpretation of financial results.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Establish a deep understanding of the business and leverage data to build insightsAssist in the preparation of forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis, reviewing with business partners to ensure understanding of the drivers and operational impactsSupport, design, and preparation of Management Reporting Packages and Presentations and perform variance analysis providing a clear understanding of operational and financial performanceActively work with operations and other finance team members to improve the effectiveness of the financial planning process, assumptions, and resultsCreate and maintain trackers for key operational drivers and Operational Expenses such as Licenses, Contractors, and Headcount among others, and execute financial performance reporting and analysis for critical projectsPartner with Finance Operations and Asset Management teams in the creation and management of Purchase Orders and Capital Requests, Prepaid Schedules, etc. to guarantee proper accounting treatment, correct coding, as well as compliance and alignment between actuals and forecast/budget approachSupport month-end close activities to enhance the accuracy and ensure timely delivery of financial resultsHelp develop reporting tools, reviews, analyses, and cost-tracking systemsPerform ad hoc financial analysis to evaluate the operation and business initiatives
 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another highly analytical/quantitative discipline2-3 years of experience in budgeting and forecasting experienceIntermediate to advanced proficiency using Excel, with financial modeling and data mining experience Working knowledge of Financial Systems (i.e. Workday financials, Adaptive)Experience operating thriving in a fast-paced, ever-changing, results and customer-service-oriented environmentStrong organization skills with the ability to prioritize activities, manage timelines, deal effectively with pressure, and show deep intellectual curiosityAbility to be a team player with a highly collaborative and team-oriented work stylePositive attitude and solutions-oriented approachAbility to develop strong relationships with others and communicate effectively

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $36.00-46.88 per hour for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $30.00-39.00 per hour for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
