Description Are you ready to get in on the ground floor of Amazon’s long-term initiative to design, launch and maintain a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world? It’s Day 1 for Amazon’s next billion-dollar business, and we are looking for a motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our Business Operations Finance team and lead Kuiper's Product Development for our customer terminals. In this role, you will partner with Kuiper's Product Management team as well as with various cross-functional teams to assess the financial feasibility of building new customer terminals, and help define our product roadmap for the upcoming years. We are looking for a self-starter, excited to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment, and who is able to successfully work with others to deliver results. Key job responsibilities - Influence the devices and accessories roadmap strategy as we evaluate feasibility of building new products - Build financial models to assess new business initiatives, and provide actionable recommendations to drive data-informed decision-making - Educate business partners on financial and operational trade-offs, exercising sound judgement in ambiguous situations with limited or challenging data - Define product guardrails to ensure strong controllership and alignment with Kuiper's long range financial plan - Be able to work on multiple projects at the same time, effectively managing priorities and building strong relationships with business and finance partners Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) - 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience - 3+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience - Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum Preferred Qualifications - 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience - Prior experience in product development, and/or telecommunications industry Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
