As a senior financial analyst on US Retail Staffing & Scheduling Finance team, you will contribute to Starbucks success by supporting financial planning, analysis, reporting and modeling to help inform senior leadership’s operational decision-making for one of the largest, most visible lines in the Starbucks P&L.
As a senior financial analyst, US Retail Staffing & Scheduling, you will…
• Conduct financial modeling to analyze and determine the financial impact of various retail staffing and scheduling initiatives. Highlight issues and recommend courses of action based on results of the analysis.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to summarize new business proposals, forecast financial impact, and highlight risk and opportunities.
• Prepare accurate and timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting as it relates to US wages and benefits. Support forecasting and budget development processes.
• Deliver executive-level presentations that will help with storytelling; summarize key insights for senior management.
• Provide and explain financial information and guidance effectively to all levels of the organization. Educate financial/business acumen and ensures adherence to policy.
• Establish and facilitate process development and perform on-going review of planning and reporting process to evaluate effectiveness and making recommendations for improvements
We’d love to hear from people with:
• Bachelors degree or 4 or more years of US military experience
• 5 or more years of experience in a role performing financial analysis job functions, including budgeting, forecasting, planning and financial reporting
• 2 or more years of experience in a role using electronic financial modeling skills, Anaplan experience a plus

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
