Senior Financial Analyst | Hybrid

 

What you do:

Support the business by providing thoughtful financial analysis and interpretation to products, investments and transactions. Monitors new financial and accounting trends and their impact on the company. Working under general guidance, drives forward initiatives within the team, department and occasionally division.

 

Technical research and interpretation:

Ability to understand increasingly complex investment and actuarial topics to help drive the company’s business leverage for Develop thoughtful content and communication around our financial plan and strategy to enhance relationships with business partners, parent company and rating agencies. Support the strong relationship between AZ Life and our parent company through formal governance and routine check-ins Monitor and track market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities for our organization. Conduct market research, industry analysis, and competitor assessments, aligning with the company's growth strategy and objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various projects and ad hoc requests. Ability to communicate complex subjects to technical and non-technical audiences Ability to communicate in a variety of mediums including strong ppt skills Support business partners and team members through financial modeling, budgeting,

 

Project leadership:

Leads teams and drives special projects to a successful completion with some guidance and keeps management informed of status Coordinates project meetings as appropriate for project size and scope (e.g. working group, operating, steering or executive level meetings) Plays a leading role in projects the team participates in (i.e. gathering information, responding to informational requests, etc.) Actively contributes to team processes and serves as technical lead for assigned deliverables

 

Leadership and Communication:

Understands and supports the team/division initiatives/goals Proactively communicates with internal and external customer relevant to job responsibilities Recognizes resources within the enterprise that can assist in the ability to perform the job and leverages existing relationships to achieve business objectives

 

What you bring:

4+ years’ experience required including Accounting or Financial experience Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field required
