Let’s Get Down to Business (and Chicken):

What’s the Big Picture?

Your mission: Support KFC’s equity restaurant operations by bringing your financial expertise to the table. You’ll help drive sales, profitability, and strategic expansion like a true analytics pro. Whether it’s crunching numbers, analyzing restaurant performance, or scouting the next big opportunity, you’ll be a key player in improving our restaurants’ bottom line—and making Colonel Sanders proud.

Your Day-to-Day Drumsticks: Crunch the Numbers:

Assist Yum Control in wrapping up period financial closes like a champ. Keep Area Coaches and Market Managers in the loop with weekly store-level reports—because teamwork makes the dream (and chicken) work! Own the field reporting process, consolidating data for KFC US leadership. Analyze period performance across equity restaurants and call out those outliers (good and bad). Help our Marketing and Finance teams cook up accurate forecasts and business plans. Spot risks, seize opportunities, and craft strategies that improve profitability. Keep our bonus programs on track, ensuring timely and accurate payouts for restaurant managers and teams.

Field Fun & Development:

Hit the road to visit restaurants, provide live performance reporting, and coach field teams on P&L management. Help build training materials with our Operations and People & Culture teams to boost financial performance. Audit equity restaurants to ensure cash and inventory control are on point.

Special Projects:

Perform benchmarking analyses to find areas for improvement—because we’re not just competing, we’re leading! Work with our Equity and M&A team to assess financial and strategic viability for acquisitions and new builds. Provide post-deal analytics to make sure every acquisition delivers the goods (and the profits).

Who You’ll Work With:

Inside the Bucket: Operations, Finance, People & Culture, Area Coaches, Market Managers, and the KFC Control Team. Outside the Bucket: Franchisees, M&A teams, and industry partners.

What You Bring to the Table:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management (required). Bonus points for an MBA or CFA/CPA.

Experience & Skills:

4+ years in Corporate Finance or Accounting (restaurant industry experience is a huge plus). Pro-level skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word—you know your way around a spreadsheet like we know our way around chicken. Strong analytical chops and the ability to solve complex business problems. A strategic mindset and the ability to deliver big-picture insights. Interpersonal skills that could charm a bucket of chicken—collaborate like a pro with everyone from execs to field teams.
