Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary\:

This position will be responsible for assisting the corporate BP&A team with financial close and analytical support. To accomplish these objectives, the Sr. Analyst – BP&A will be expected to provide sharp, proactive, timely insights and analysis which drive improved business decisions and – as a result – enhanced business outcomes.

 

Responsibilities will include financial modeling, setting targets, forecasting, savings tracking, executing roll-ups, reporting and providing insights and analysis to multiple stakeholders. The individual should be comfortable communicating to all levels of the organization and able to develop positive relationships throughout the Company in order gather information and influence decision making. This role has potential for expanded responsibilities and an opportunity for development and growth within the organization.

 

Duties Include\:

Develop relationships with business and functional teams to enhance understanding of business drivers.

Generate various monthly financial analyses & reports accurately and consistently.

Deliver insights based on financial modeling, data, and other information.

Assist in the preparation of strategic plan, annual budget, and forecast updates (documents the drivers and changes vs expectations).

Ensure Strategic plan is translated into the budget and KPIs are measure and reported out to the leadership team.

Assist with financial reporting using SAP and BI tools.

Support internal/external audit requirements on a quarterly/annual basis.

Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting to the executive leadership team.

Leverage various software tools to provide automated flexible reporting and create processes for efficiency and consistency.

Develop and update meaningful metrics and reporting tools that can facilitate decision-making.

Support reporting to prepare executive leadership team for quarterly earnings call.

Prepare trend analysis reports to understand business performance and drivers.

Prepare and maintain process documentation.

Qualifications\:

Educational background in Accounting or Finance

2-4 years of relevant experience in Accounting/Finance (or applicable internship experience)

Ability to problem solve autonomously and interpret data

Detail oriented and strong attention to detail

Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously

Self-motivated in achieving goals and completing routine tasks

Strong written and oral communication skills

Possess a thorough understanding of financial statements and relationships between the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements

Cross-functional teamwork experience

Strong PC skills and proficiency with various applications; MS Access, MS Word, MS Excel required

Strong SAP and Oracle/Hyperion/Essbase experience a plus
