Senior Financial Analyst

This is a full-time salaried position: Monday – Friday, 1st shift.
Catalent’s Greenville, NC facility specializes in end-to-end turn-key solutions for oral solid dosage forms, including integrated formulation development, analytical services, commercial manufacturing, and packaging. This state-of-the-art facility has had over $100M of investments in recent years and features fit-for-scale capacity with potent handling capabilities, ideal for orphan or targeted drug development.
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate financial records and providing on-site financial support to the Site’s operational leaders in Greenville, NC. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial oversight and driving financial decisions to support revenue growth and improve profitability.

The Role:
Provide support for annual strategic planning, annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and weekly outlook of financial performance
Drive key business decisions including preparation of capital investments, strategy, pricing, bidding
Work with Cost Accountant and operational leadership to drive improvements and efficiencies to optimize cost base to drive margin expansion
Support month-end close, prepare journal entries, and Balance Sheet reconciliations of assigned accounts
Provide support to internal and external audit reviews
Documentation of periodic controls testing
Ensure SOX related activities are conducted as documented, help coordinate changes as required, and work with internal and external auditors in the review and testing of SOX related processes
Other duties as assigned
The Candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, required
CPA, CPA Candidate, or MBA/MSA preferred
Three+ years of progressive experience in the Finance/Accounting field
Experience with an integrated ERP such as SAP required
Experience developing and maintaining BI (Business Intelligence) tools preferred
Experience with Financial consolidation software systems such as OneStream or HFM preferred
Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds
