Job Description
As part of the Technology Finance Team, the Project Finance Support is accountable to provide support for all finance-related activities associated with Bank projects including: planning, analysis, & reporting, business case support, project set-up & closure, develop project standards, and tracking of benefits when required. Reporting to the Director, Technology Finance, the role is responsible for managing a portfolio of projects. The candidate will provide information and analysis, make recommendations and suggest consequences of proposed actions for management consideration. This includes providing accurate plans, forecasts and management reporting for all aspects of the project. The position will work closely with portfolio project managers, internal finance groups, senior technology and business leadership teams.

Skills and Requirements
* Excellent relationship building, management, influencing, and planning skills required;
* Superior communication skills to promote interaction and co-operation with senior personnel;
* Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of tools, techniques and practices for analyzing the purpose and scope of a project in terms of cost and benefits;
* Continuous Improvement Focus: Ability to understand, monitor, update, or enhance existing business or work process;
* Knowledge of regulatory issues and/or complex accounting/reporting systems and have an ability to identify, extract, and apply the information accordingly;
* Understanding and knowledge of the policies and procedures used within CIBC, and the ability to identify, extract, and apply the information accordingly;
* Demonstrated ability to manage changing priorities promptly and effectively;
* CA/CMA/CGA designation, MBA Finance, or equivalent. Minimum of 7 years accounting/finance experience; - excellent communication skills both verbally and written null
