Position Overview:
The Rolling Stock business unit is the North American market leader in the production of passenger rail vehicles. As a pivotal leader within the organization, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in driving process improvements and advancing commercial initiatives.
The successful candidate will add significant value by ensuring financial accuracy and integrity, leading key projects, presenting key performance indicators (KPIs), and acting as a trusted commercial partner to Senior Management.
What your day may look like:
Prepare forecasts and budgets for costs, recoveries, free cash flow, and headcount, ensuring our financial health and strategic growth. Create and present insightful financial reports to Senior Management, influencing key decisions. Uphold financial guidelines and complete audit controls, maintaining the highest standards of integrity. Generate and implement innovative ideas for process improvements, driving efficiency and effectiveness. Build strong collaborations with internal and external functions, fostering a cohesive and dynamic work environment. Take charge of ad-hoc projects to enhance business performance on commercial topics, showcasing your leadership and expertise. Utilize data visualization tools (PowerPoint, Tableau) to create compelling presentations that tell the story behind the numbers. Present findings and recommendations to Senior Management, making a tangible impact on our business strategies. Maintain a continuous focus on process improvement and automation, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve.What will make you successful in this role:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant career field.5+ years of experience in Finance or Operations Finance. This is not a new graduate position. Proven track record of leading digitalization or automation projects.Proficiency with tools such as Tableau, Thinkcell, Alteryx, SAP, and Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Strong analytical and presentation skills.Self-motivated and organized, with a focus on process improvement.Excellent presentation and communication skills.Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take initiative.Effective prioritization and communication skills.Why Siemens Mobility?

This position is located in Sacramento, CA. The salary range for this role is $119,900-$162,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
