Senior Financial Analyst
As a member of the company’s Finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in delivering critical reporting and analytical insights. The analyst will develop reports and financial models to evaluate business performance, support long-term strategic planning, and forecast future performance and valuations across existing markets and assets. Additionally, the analyst will collaborate with other teams to address evolving business needs and contribute to broader financial initiatives. Duties: + Develop and ensure the accuracy of the quarterly Sales Reporting Package used for internal and public reporting, collaborating with Sales and General Management teams + Accurately prepare and continuously improve the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes by identifying inefficiencies, addressing gaps, and implementing solutions to enhance precision, timeliness, and overall effectiveness + Assist with quarterly earnings process as needed including preparation of supplemental reports + Present results of analysis and research on a variety of business operations topics + Prepare reports and analysis for senior management, board of directors, and general managers showing actual versus forecasted performance + Develop a comprehensive expertise of existing asset models, including asset performance, asset returns, valuations, trends, and assumptions + Provide support for additional financial, accounting, and operational needs, as well as other projects or duties as assigned + Promote and demonstrate the behaviors consistent with CoreSite’s culture and Core Values Requirements + Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment that includes at least two onsite days per week in the downtown Denver office, currently Tuesdays and Wednesdays for in-person collaboration + Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to organize and analyze large datasets, generate meaningful reports, and propose actionable solutions to management + Ability to excel in a team-oriented and collaborative work environment + Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills + Exhibits a strong work ethic, with accountability to deadlines and high standards for deliverables + Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel + Proficiency in SQL and MS Access is preferred but not required Education and Experience: + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field, with a focus in finance, accounting, or computer science + 4+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and/or data analysis + Experience with Essbase or other forecast systems strongly preferred, but not required Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus and equity, based upon individual and company performance.
