**Position Description:**
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our CGI Team and being a part of an exciting large scale transformation project in Sacramento, CA!
This position is located at our CGI office in Sacramento, CA.

You will play an important role on a large systems implementation project. As a member of our team, you will manage the project financials, adhere to corporate processes and oversee that the obligations we have to our company are being met. Also, will be responsible for financial planning, tracking, forecasting, reporting and analysis.

**Your future duties and responsibilities:**
**How you'll make an impact**
• Ensure the integrity and reliability of the financial and operating results for both reporting and forecasting purposes
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual forecast for assigned project
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Deliver accurate, insightful and timely analysis of financial results against plans, forecast and budget
• Manage multiple deadlines demonstrating the ability to prioritize and a high level attention to detail
• Gather and verify financial information with a proactive attitude
• Oversee the financial management of the project, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and objectives
• Develop and maintain project budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to track financial performance against plan
• Monitor cost allocations, invoicing, and financial controls, ensuring accuracy and compliance with corporate standards
• Provide variance analysis and insights to leadership, identifying potential financial risks and opportunities
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and financial regulations
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to maintain financial oversight and optimize resource allocation
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive leadership and project stakeholders
• Assist in contract financial management, including client invoicing and subcontractor and vendor payments, milestone payments, and financial reconciliation
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and project financial tracking
• Participate in other projects and activities as requested
• Complete ad hoc reports/analysis as necessary
**Required qualifications to be successful in this role:**
**What you'll bring**
• 5 to 8 years of experience as a Financial Analyst
• Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting or a related field
In addition:
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial information, both structured and unstructured
• Action oriented, proactive with high level of accountability for delivering quality work
• Strong understanding of corporate financial processes, reporting, and compliance requirements
• Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau

Desired Qualifications/Non-Essential Skills:
• Previous financial work for a services/consulting organization
• Public Sector experience
• Experience working with industry software such as PeopleSoft, Hyperion (Oracle) would be considered valuable assets
• Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems
• Accounting Designation (CPA) completed or in progress - preference will be given to candidates who have completed their CPA designation
