Kforce has a client in Washington, DC that is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. Financial Analysis & Reporting: * Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements * Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain deviations from the budget, forecast, or prior periods * Provide actionable insights to senior leadership on financial performance and business trends Budgeting & Forecasting: * Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial goals and targets * Prepare and maintain financial forecasts, updating them regularly based on changes in business conditions * Analyze and assess financial risks, recommending mitigation strategies Strategic Planning & Financial Modeling: * Develop financial models to evaluate business scenarios, investment opportunities, and long-term strategic plans * Assist in the preparation of long-term financial plans, working with management to ensure alignment with corporate goals
