Job Overview:
The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key resource in reporting and providing critical analyses of KDP’s financial performance for finance and executive leadership. In support of 2 Regions, you will collaborate with the business leaders, and finance teams across the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) organization to analyze and communicate key drivers of the company’s financial results. This role requires an understanding of corporate finance, a strong analytical mindset, commitment to continuous improvement, and a keen interest in learning the DSD route to market.
***This position is based out of multiple office locations which is Sacramento, Ca, San Leandro, CA and Denver CO and has a Hybrid schedule (3 days in the office and 2 days remote) ***
What you will do:
Collaborate closely with the Region Finance team on General Ledger month end close, financial reporting, to ensure monthly P/L is fairly statedProvide financial guidance on actual results, operational processes, and financial planningIdentify and evaluate opportunities for process improvement and standardization of key financial metrics for development of financial scorecards and dashboardsSupport Executive and Finance Leadership teams with monthly financial management through timely reporting, advanced analysis, and critical thinkingEvaluate spend patterns versus historical norms, forecasted plans, and competitive benchmarks to recommend sound business decisions and opportunitiesPartner with business, finance, and accounting teams to analyze, align, and report the key business driversAssess current and historical financial trends, and utilize various analysis techniques to gauge forecast and annual operating plan reasonablenessMake recommendations to management based on in-depth knowledge of the analytics and financial acumenProvide ad-hoc financial analysis and modelingPromote and communicate key elements of the various financial milestones across the organizationMaintain relationships with stakeholders across the organizationInteract with sales and operations teams to ensure spend accuracy and identify variances from Annual Operating Plan (AOP)Provide meaningful insight and recommendations to business partners and Region leadershipIdentify opportunities to improve productivity and processes to meet or exceed AOPAnalyze top line growth and high impact Operating expenses to assist with actions to drive profitBudget/Forecasting/Action Planning:
Perform budgeting and forecasting activitiesSupport monthly financial close process, reviewing financial results and recommending necessary adjustmentsAssist with weekly/monthly projections as needed and present in real time actionable formatProvide financial analysis and support for DSD Finance; develop and publish mission critical performance reports, and track financial performance against metrics and goalsTotal Rewards:
