You will also support planning, forecasting, and monthly sales tax filings, helping drive informed decision-making and ensuring strong financial controls. Here’s how:  Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for wages, accounts receivable, accrued liabilities, revenues, expenses, and other accounts as needed.Collaborate and partner with corporate department stakeholders to provide financial analysis, budgeting support, and insightful reporting that drives decision-making.Assist in the preparation and filing of provincial sales tax remittances, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Monitor and apply accounting policies and financial controls to support accurate reporting and guide financial decisions.Identify, assess, and communicate risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, recommending process enhancements that strengthen financial performance and compliance.Support audit and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to internal controls and accounting standards.Support with ad hoc financial projects and analysis as assigned by the management team. We’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting. CPA designation (or in progress) is preferred.A minimum of three to five years’ experience in accounting, financial reporting, or analysis, preferably in a corporate environment.
