Learn more about our benefits and perks at https://jobs.disneycareers.com/benefits **Responsibilities:** + SOX 404 testing of entity and business-unit level controls across multiple segments and Corporate functions + Perform testing through walkthroughs/inquiry, observation and re-performance and documenting results in working papers + Partnering with business units on SOX 404 related efforts, such as documentation (e.g. walkthroughs, narratives and flowcharts) of in-scope processes, identification of key controls, and control/process improvements + Ability to identify and assess control deficiencies and develop appropriate remediation plans + Assisting with maintenance of the SOX 404 software including updating control descriptions and ownership, running quarterly and annual reports, and monitoring business units’ quarterly certification + Supporting the team on special projects + Supervise the Financial Analysts as needed **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent + Minimum 2 years work experience in auditing and/or accounting + A strong understanding of internal controls and control environments + Ability to assess and prioritize financial statement risk and internal controls across multiple segments and business units + Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills + Possess strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management + Ability to work in a highly organized and efficient manner, and a driver that can take projects to completion in a timely manner + Must be an excellent team player who possesses solid interpersonal and organizational skills + Ability to travel for business as needed **Desired Qualifications:** + Previous experience in accounting or auditing with a large multi-national company or Big 4 accounting firm + CPA or equivalent experience The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $103,400 to $126,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
